We chose a wide range of wood: Willett, Weller, Russell's Reserve, Blanton's, and Buffalo Trace. We doubled the toasted coconut to enhance the aroma and match the intensity of the Madagascar vanilla. With Vanilla Benthic, a large pour is a no-brainer, producing a sandy-colored head that rises high above the jet-black stout. The combined halo effect of these decadent ingredients is smooth and enveloping.
